Live Wedding Painting

On one of the most special days of your life, you want to remember the most perfect moments. What better way than to have a live painting done of your wedding to adorn your walls for years to come?

A little about the day:
I am there to paint a special moment or feeling of your choosing. Whether it be the first kiss, first walk down the aisle, first dance, or any creative vision you may have-I capture the moment in a painting as a unique keepsake to last a lifetime. I arrive 2 hours before ceremony (depending on complexity of venue and canvas size) to begin on the background, and fill in as the night goes on. I will stay up to 5 hours into the wedding, again depending on complexity and lighting. I leave the painting with you to display for your guests to view the rest of the night, and for you to take home to keep forever. If I am unable to complete the painting at the event, I will take it home with me to complete in my studio. The painting will then be shipped/hand delivered to you within 6-8 weeks.

Respectfully, serious inquiries only. As much as I would love to talk all things weddings with everyone, my email often is flooded with lots of requests and I don’t want any to get lost. A first look...

Posed near your favorite tree...

Dancing the night away...

A dip kiss at the end of your ceremony with family cheering you on...

Or walking hand in hand with your fur babies by your side...I'm there to paint whatever you have envisioned.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are you at the event?

I'm there 1.5-2 hours before the "moment" that I am painting. I don't like to be on site *too* early because lighting changes drastically in a matter of an hour and it can completely alter the colors and shading of the composition. I've found that getting paint on the canvas in this time period is the best for me. I stay as long as it takes- the earliest I'll leave is 2 hours before the completion of the evening. My average time at an event is 6-7 hours.

Do you finish on site?

Not usually. Most times, I bring the painting back to my studio to give it some extra TLC and finish up details. I then ship it to you within 4-6 weeks after the wedding!

How do you determine what you paint?

I don't- you do :) We have a call a few weeks prior to the wedding and discuss all the details of the day. This is where I can help guide you if you're unsure of what the best composition will be. I have had some clients who know exactly what they want and every detail, and some give complete creative control to me. Either way, I will give 150% of my ability to make sure the painting is something you will treasure for years to come.

Do you require anything at the venue?

I bring all the equipment and materials I need to each event. The only thing I need is to set up my easel near a power outlet once it begins to get dark out, or if it's an indoor venue with limited natural lighting. I also require a vendor meal as I'm on site for 6-7 hours.

What canvas size should I choose?

This again is entirely up to you! The most popular canvas sizes are usually 20x24" for a smaller size, and 24x30" for a larger size. 24x36" is a wonderful "over the mantle" size to consider as well! I always recommend thinking about the space the painting will be in, and how many details you would want in the painting. The larger the canvas, the more I can fit in. However a smaller canvas does not mean a lesser quality painting in terms of details- I make sure that each painting is exactly what my clients are looking for.
